Many monks and laymen died in this cave and forests in search of the Miraculous Leklai. When entering the cave, LP Somchai said he found human bones and skull scattered all over the place.

LP Somchai with his Supernatural Powers communicated with the evil spirits and demons who were guarding the cave to cease from killing monks and lay people who visited and explored the cave. By chanting and sharing his merits with those evil spirits and demons, he wanted them to be reborn in other realms. He did not wish for those spirits and demons to accrue more bad karma by killing the innocent monks and people.

The evil spirits and demons agreed to abandon the cave and seek rebirth, they chanted out loud "Sadhu" three times to LP Somchai and left. Phra Ajahn Mun's mode of practice was solitary and strict. He followed the Vinaya Monastic Discipline faithfully, and also observed many of what are known as the 13 classic dhutanga ascetic practices, such as living off alms food, wearing robes made of cast-off rags, dwelling in the forest and eating only one meal a day. Monks following this tradition are known as "tudong", the Thai pronunciation of this Pali word.
